Privacy policy

At Fundación Creciente we respect your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect through this website, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights, in line with Chilean Law 21.719 on the protection of personal data.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect
Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), subject and message.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): only if you accept them. They show us which pages are visited, without identifying you directly.
Necessary cookies: they keep the site working, such as remembering your cookie choice.
3. Why we use your data and on what basis
To answer your messages from the contact form. The basis is your consent, which you give by sending the form after accepting this policy.
To understand how the site is used and improve it. The basis is your consent to analytics cookies.
Event and workshop registrations are made in person. This website does not collect data for registrations.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers that process it on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudinary (images), the email service that receives contact messages, and Google (Analytics, Fonts and Maps, as described in this policy).
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Chile, mainly in the United States. The contact form is processed on servers in the Amazon Web Services us-west-2 region (Oregon, USA).
6. Third-party services on this site
Google Fonts: when the page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
YouTube: videos use the privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube sets cookies only if you play a video.
Google Maps: the map on the contact page loads only if you accept third-party cookies. You can also open it directly in Google Maps.
7. How long we keep your data
Contact form messages: up to 24 months from the date we receive them. After that they are deleted.
Analytics data: kept according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
Cookies: you can review their duration in section 9.
8. Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to personal data is limited to authorised staff. We review our providers and their security measures.
9. Cookies we use
Necessary: fc-cookie-consent (stores your choice about cookies, kept in your browser).
Analytics (only if you accept): _ga and _ga_* from Google Analytics, which last up to 2 years.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to its use and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the processing carried out before.
To exercise your rights, write to Ximena Torres, Executive Director, at fundacioncreciente@gmail.com. Include your name, the right you want to exercise and how we can reply. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
We will answer within the deadlines set by the law.
11. Data breaches
If a security incident affects your personal data, we will inform you and the competent authority as the law requires.
12. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the competent authority. Once the Personal Data Protection Agency is operating, it will be the authority for these matters.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
